Boys Of The Bunch

This is the dance that most sides call "The Lollipop Man". However, we use the "Lollipop Man" tune for a processional dance - we employ a tune borrowed from Bledington (if I remember correctly) for this one.
A1, A2   Once-To-Yourself.
A3, A4   Foot-Up-And-Down.
B1, B2, B3   Chorus: First corner (1 and 6) face each other and dance short sidestep left and right. Two half-capers, the first one without any forward travel if possible, moving forward to meet on the second. Land the second half-caper with feet together, coming face-to-face with your opposite corner, and feint left on the anacrusis. Two double steps to cross over, passing right-shoulder-to-right-shoulder. Galley left to face your opposite corner, two plain capers.

At the same time as the first corner dance their plain capers, second corner (2 and 5) come in with two plain capers, then perform the same steps as first corner. Repeat for third corner. At the same time as the third corner dance the plain capers, all the other dancers come in with two plain capers leading into the next figure.

A5, A6   Foot-Down-And-Up.
B4, B5, B6   Chorus, as in B1 - B3.
A7, A8   Rounds.
B7, B8, B9   Chorus, as in B1 - B3.
A9, A10   Rounds.
B10, B11, B12   Chorus, as in B1 - B3.
A11, A12   Whole Hey, finishing with four plain capers facing up.
